As a member of our team, A Lawn Care Specialist will perform lawn and landscape maintenance at the highest level and maintain our position as the #1 lawn care and landscape company in North Georgia.

You must be prompt, professional, reliable, and self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, and be able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. One year of lawn maintenance experience is a big plus, but we will train.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES, but not limited to:

  • Performs landscape maintenance both residential and commercial duties including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, pruning shrubs & trees, and flower bed maintenance, etc.
  • Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to bed edgers, commercial mowers, blowers, dump trailers, chainsaws, line trimmers, and tillers.
  • Performs landscape enhancement activities including spring and fall clean-ups, flowerbed clean-ups, mulching, plantings, tree/shrub removal and installation, topsoil application, grading, leveling, sodding, and flower bed installation and removal.
  • Addresses clients’ questions, comments, and concerns or refers clients to the Supervisor as appropriate.
  • Assists Supervisor with the daily route and job planning and organization to ensure necessary tools, equipment, and materials are readily available.
  • Assists with equipment maintenance and repair under the supervision of the Supervisor.
  • Assists Supervisor to ensure jobs are started and completed on time per the contract/statement of work.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean record
  • Must be 21 years old or older
  • Pass D.O.T. Physical
  • Willingness to work occasional (paid) overtime
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physicals
    requirements associated with a position of this nature
  • Willingness to learn and improve skills and knowledge

TRUCK MAINTENANCE

  • Check oil levels
  • Check all tires for proper inflation
  • Check all lights for proper operation
  • Check tread depth and proper wear and tear (no debris in dual tires)
  • Sign off on all checks
  • Keep truck clean at all times

MOWERS CHECK

  • Check fuel levels before routes
  • Check hydro oil levels before routes
  • Check tires
  • Check oil
